We supply a wide range of laboratory equipment, laboratory chemicals and science education equipment.
We are unique in being able to offer laboratory and science equipment for a whole range of customers in primary, secondary and tertiary education, and laboratory supplies. We also offer laboratory chemical waste disposal and microscope servicing.
Scientific & Chemical (or SciChem to many) is unique in being able to offer national coverage and local delivery using the combination of local branches and an extensive fleet of vehicles and fully trained drivers.
The company operates from four sites, the head office and main warehouse in Bilston, West Midlands, two branches in Scotland, in Aberdeen and Paisley, and a branch in Cork, Republic of Ireland.
 England & Wales
The head office and warehouse is located in Bilston, West Midlands, UK, between Birmingham and Wolverhampton with good access to the M6 and M5.
Northern Ireland
Customers are supplied direct from our head office and warehouse located in Bilston, collections for delivery to N.I. are made three times a week with a 2-3 day delivery service or sooner if required for more urgent orders. After sales and support is provided by our dedicated customer support team and locally based representative.
Republic of Ireland
The recent addition of Shaw Scientific into the Scientific and Chemical family has enabled us to broaden our offering to the Irish education market and combine it with our industrial experience, giving unrivalled service to our customers.
The company now has two branches in Ireland;
Our oldest branch is based in Carrigtwohill, Co Cork and was established to serve the dairy and pharmaceutical markets. It now not only serves industrial customers but has become a major supplier to our education customers in the area.
Our new branch is the existing Shaw Scientific premises in Dublin. Whilst primarily focussed on education, this branch now also serves the industrial market and will enhance our service to customers in the region.
Both our education and industrial customers benefit from an annual, Euro priced catalogue giving access to the latest scientific products available.
Teams of representatives operate from the branches, serving both markets.
Scotland
There are branches in Aberdeen and Paisley.
The Aberdeen branch serves the capital of the European oil industry and the global petroleum market. They also supply the diverse manufacturing, production and technology companies based in the rich natural resources of the North of Scotland.
The branch in Paisley serves the education and laboratory supplies markets for the central Scotland area. The Paisley branch has particular expertise serving the medical, hospital and university markets.
 Rest of World
The International division based in Bilston, West Midlands represents the company for all other countries, and has expertise in quoting, consolidating and delivering large projects around the world.
